“We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. “It was great. The waterfalls on site are stunning. The views from the restaurant are amazing and the staff was great. They were always friendly and attentive. The only complaint is that it needs some sort of AC for during the day. Fans weren't enough to keep the room cool in the hot season. Other times of the year I'm sure it's perfect. “This is a very special property in the jungle. The food prepared at the restaurant was superb. There was a lovely infinity pool that we were able to enjoy. (Temps were in the mid-90s) We stayed in one of the treehouses and loved it. Very well appointed. Pretty pathways throughout the property. Be sure to visit the green iguana rescue in San Ignacio. The property's location is handy for Mayan ruins and cave tours. Love this place.”
